Series Theme:

A series of sermon for Lent exploring the wonder of God’s mercy in Christ and the response it ought to evoke from those who have received this mercy.

It delves into issues of:

  1. Our need for the mercy of God – God owes nobody anything

  2. The pain we cause God and yet He still show us mercy in Christ

  3. The wrath of God is dealt with forthrightly but in the context of God’s mercy

  4. The mercy of God is also studied in the light of God’s compassion

  5. For Good Friday we are in awe as we consider that Christ suffered Hell for us on the cross

  6. Finally, we finish on Easter Sunday with the holiness of God who in His mercy through Christ welcomes us into His presence as those made holy
